Church Map Version 1.0 offers the complete introduction of Chinese (Beijing city) Christian church from the aspects of the historical evolution, church information as well as the architectural style displayed by rich content and exquisite pictures. It is the first comprehensive, multi-angel Chinese (Beijing city) church map.

Catholicism was introduced to China in Yuan Dynasty. In 1583, the Jesuit priest Matteo Ricci came to China and founded the Xuanwumen chapel which later became the first church in Beijing. With the rapid development of Catholicism in China, Beijing biggest four Catholic Cathedrals had built nearly a hundred years thereafter. After the Opium War in the mid-19th century, Christian Protestant factions had also come into China and constructed many churches, including Asbury Church (Chongwenmen Christian Church as current name), Huashi church, etc. Unfortunately, a large number of churches were destroyed in the Boxer Movement and then rebuilt followed by the Boxer Indemnity. So far, the Church still in use in Beijing includes a total of 20Catholic Cathedrals, 12 Christ Church and 2 Orthodox Church.
